Door de spiraalvormige opstelling van de mengschoepen beweegt het product zich in een kringvormige 3-dimensionele baan.
Door de twee mengassen met tegengestelde draairichting en de omkeerschoepen op het einde van de mengas, is er een intensieve menging van de verschillende productstromen.
De doorgang van de mengas is voorzien van een dubbele labyrinthdichting en automatische vetsmering. De lagers van de mengas zijn gescheiden opgesteld van de afdichtingen.
